The ” traveler” is welcomed into a natural environment and animal space. The trek, which takes place on scenic routes and is accompanied by botanical and historical-naturalistic descriptions, forms circuits in the valleys and on the slopes of Mount Poro amid spectacular views of the sea of Capo Vaticano. The experience allows direct and in-depth knowledge, all original, of places and landscapes at different times of the day.
Along the way, at a place of historical and natural interest, about halfway through the experience, a rich tasting of “morzeddu,” typical peasant food accompanied by excellent local wine, is offered. The donkeys, in addition to dictating the timing of the trek, will carry saddlebags called “friccine” with food on their backs.
